The FarmMatch.com is a new social media and food search site. Farmers, consumer, buying clubs, farmer’s markets, and restaurants plot themselves on the FarmMatch.com map and then quickly fill out their food profile. Farmers declare the food they want to sell and consumers declare the food they want to buy. The food-profile not only includes foods, but also quality standards such as “grass-fed,” “gmo-free,” and “raw.” Users then get matched with one another according to their food and quality standard preferences.
